Ine was first introduced to yoga in 1998 during her time at the dance academy, and it quickly became a vital part of her life. In 2010, after experiencing the deep benefits of yoga on both body and mind, she completed her first certification in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. This marked the beginning of a lifelong path of trainings, workshops, and in-depth studies in both yoga practice and its philosophical roots.
She has studied with respected teachers such as Carlos Pomeda and David Swenson, and continues to be inspired by the Ashtanga lineage; drawn to its discipline, depth, and tradition, while maintaining a curious and open-hearted approach to learning.
A passionate traveler at heart, Ine finds her greatest joy in teaching and creating retreats. Her approach to yoga is holistic and rooted in real-life experience, always aiming to support people in finding depth, clarity, and balance on and beyond the mat.
In addition to being the lead teacher of the Antwerp Yoga Teacher Training, she also teaches a 100-hour Yin Yoga Training and several other advanced modules. She believes in the power of balance: while Ashtanga remains her anchor, she complements this dynamic practice with the stillness of Yin Yoga and meditation.
Ine is the author of Zenparents, Stress, and Slaap. Three books that reflect her warm, practical, and mindful approach to modern life. With over 28 years of experience in teaching group classes, she continues to inspire students through her grounded presence, thoughtful guidance, and love for the practice.
When she’s not teaching or writing, you’ll likely find her with her nose in a book, by the sea or in the mountains, or simply enjoying time with her husband and three children, who are her greatest teachers of all.
